French President Emmanuel Macron has admitted that the commitment to supply one million shells to Ukraine was reckless on the part of the European Union. He stated this during a press conference at the Elysee Palace.
"The reality is that in the very short term, you can only provide the ammunition you have in stock or that you produce, just in time," Macron stressed.
According to him, they did not have this million shells - "it was undoubtedly a reckless commitment."
"Today, the initiatives we have put forward will be put on the table, and in 10 days you will receive a clear answer with a serious agenda," the French leader emphasized, adding that not all information can be made public.
