Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports on two downed Russian fighters

On the morning of February 19, the Ukrainian military shot down a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35C fighter jet. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.


According to him, the downed planes struck with guided aerial bombs at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. 


Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk clarified that the targets were shot down in the eastern direction.


Ukrainian channels covering the war wrote that the "eternal flight" took place in the Mariupol area.
