The 3rd assault brigade in Avdiivka is surrounded in some places. This was reported by Rodion Kudryashov, deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade, in a commentary to Radio Liberty.
"We carry out the orders of the command, we show good results. The enemy is really prevails, the regular army, the special forces, which is the flagship of pressure. In some areas the situation is critical, in some cases 180 degrees, in some cases 360 degrees," said Kudryashov.
He noted that there are places in Avdiivka that are completely surrounded by the Russian army.
"But we have opportunities to open the ring, we are doing it successfully. Russia is throwing everything at our borders. It is important for them. The soldiers are showing unprecedented heroism," the officer emphasized.
Kudryashov also commented on Russian statements that they managed to capture the Zenit fortification. According to him, this information is more of a propaganda nature, as the enemy has no positions there that can be effectively held.
In its turn, the 110th separate mechanized brigade, which has been holding Avdiivka since the beginning of the full-scale war, notes that the enemy is sending enormous forces to the Avdiivka direction.
"There are more than 12 separate enemy formations against us. Brigades, regiments, separate special forces units. Our guys are performing their tasks in inhuman conditions under minute-by-minute artillery fire and constant air bombardment," the brigade said.
