Russians attacked fuel oil tanks on the territory of the Avdiivka Coke Plant with phosphorus. This was reported by the press service of the 3rd separate assault brigade. 


The military showed footage from the coke plant in Avdiivka. Fuel oil tanks caught fire there due to shelling with phosphorus shells. Poisonous smog is spreading throughout the plant.


"60 aerial bombs - day and night, enemy fire from artillery and MLRS. Continuous assaults with armored vehicles and enemy infantry," the soldiers of the 3rd assault brigade describe the situation. 


"However, our units continue to resist the enemy with dignity, conduct defense and inflict record losses on the enemy," the statement reads.


The commander of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the 3rd Brigade, call sign "Var," also spoke about the situation: "When burning, this poisonous substance has very serious consequences for the health and even the lives of our soldiers. The wind and pressure change, so this smoke has spread to the entire area around Avdiivka Coke Plant. Cases of poisoning among the personnel are constantly growing," the officer said.
