On the night of February 15, Russian troops attacked Ukraine once again. Air defense forces destroyed 13 missiles out of 26 launched by the Russians. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.


"On the night of February 15, 2024, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with X-101/X-555/X-55 air-launched cruise missiles, Kalibr sea-based ballistic missiles, Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, and X-59 guided missiles," the statement said.


It is noted that a total of 26 missiles of various types were launched, namely: 12 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles from T-95ms strategic aviation aircraft (Engels); six Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles (Voronezh region); two Kalibr cruise missiles (Novorossiysk, Russia); four X-59 guided air missiles (TOT of Zaporizhzhia region, Kursk region, Russia); two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles (Belgorod region, Russia).


Thus, the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 13 missiles. In particular: missiles of various types: eight X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles; one Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile; two Kalibr cruise missiles; two X-59 guided missiles.
