On the night of February 9, the Security Service of Ukraine attacked two oil refineries in the Russian Krasnodar Krai with drones - Ilsky and Afipsky. This was reported by UP with reference to a source in the security forces.
According to the source, a large fire broke out at the Ilsky refinery, and a primary processing unit with a capacity of 3.6 million tons per year was damaged - without it, the Russians will not be able to produce diesel fuel for military purposes. This unit costs $50 million.
As for the Afipsky oil refinery, the consequences of the hits are still being clarified.
Both facilities are located at a distance of about 20 km from each other. It is noted that the Russians even sent in aircraft, but this did not help protect the refinery.
Russian publics published a video of a fire at the Ilsky refinery after the strikes.
