Syrskyi made first statement as Commander-in-Chief

The new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, made the first statement. He told what new tasks Ukraine faces.

"New tasks are on the agenda. First of all, it is a clear and detailed planning of actions of all military command and control bodies, associations, formations and units, taking into account the needs of the frontline for the latest weapons coming from international partners. Fast and rational distribution and delivery of everything necessary for combat units has been and remains the main task of military logistics," the new chief wrote on Telegram.

Also, according to him, the task of headquarters at all levels is "to know all the needs of the front without exception and to be aware of the situation in each of its areas."

Syrskyi emphasized that the qualifications of the personnel of military administration is crucial for the development and successful implementation of ideas and plans.

He called the life and health of servicemen the main value of the Ukrainian army. Therefore, according to him, it is more important than ever to "maintain a balance between performing combat missions and restoring units and subunits with intensified education and training of personnel."

Syrskyi called "the introduction of new technical solutions and scaling up of successful experience" one of the future vectors of building victory, in particular, the use of drones and modern means of electronic warfare.

"Only changes and continuous improvement of the means and methods of warfare will allow us to succeed on this path. And, of course, a reliable rear is one of the main components of overall success in the war," Syrskyi concluded.
