According to preliminary information, at least 5 people were killed and more than 30 were injured in massive enemy shelling in Ukraine on Wednesday, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin said.
"Russia does not stop terrorizing the civilian population of Ukraine. Tonight and in the morning, the enemy attacked 6 regions with missiles and attack UAVs. At least five people were killed and more than 30 injured," Kostin was quoted as saying by the Prosecutor General's Office on Telegram.
Residential buildings and objects of civilian infrastructure were destroyed. Rescue operations are ongoing.
The Prosecutor General noted that criminal proceedings have been initiated for all the facts.
"The terrorist state must be held accountable for everything it has done," the Prosecutor General summarized.
