Night attack on Ukraine: 11 drones out of 25 were shot down by air defense

Last night, February 2, Russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine with Shahed-type kamikaze drones from several directions. Air defense forces were operating in several regions.


"At night, the Russian occupiers struck again, using 25 Shahed-136/131 drones," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.

It is reported that during combat operations, 11 enemy drones were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces and means.


In particular, the air defense forces shot down three enemy Shaheds in the sky of Dnipropetrovsk region.


The Air Force notes that 24 Shaheds were launched from the direction of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Cape Chauda in Crimea. The strike was aimed at critical infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk region.


The air defense forces shot down 11 drones, and at least seven other attack drones failed to reach their targets and were lost in the area.
