On the night of January 29, Russians attacked Ukraine, using eight Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area of the Russian Federation. In addition, they fired an Iskander-M missile from Voronezh region and three S-300 missiles at the Donetsk region from the occupied territory of the region. The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
"The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed eight enemy UAVs within Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi and Rivne regions," the statement said.
Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack.
