German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has announced some military supplies to Ukraine for 2024. This was reported by the German government.
Thus, this year Ukraine is to receive:
- new IRIS-T SLM air defense systems;
- anti-aircraft systems of the Gepard type;
- additional artillery systems with more than 230 thousand shells;
- more than 80 Leopard 1A5 main battle tanks;
- armored personnel carriers;
- engineering and bridge-building tanks;
- 450 armored vehicles;
- demining systems;
- drones;
- radar systems;
- intelligence systems.
In addition, in 2024, Germany plans to conduct training for 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
