Russian troops increased the number of assaults in the Tavria direction over the last day. This was reported by the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops Oleksandr Tarnavskiy.
"Russian occupants increased the number of offensive and assault actions. In the operational area of the Tavria operational-strategic group, the enemy launched 10 air strikes, conducted 50 combat engagements and fired 624 artillery shells," the statement said.
Tarnavskiy reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the line and conducting "active actions in certain directions."
"The total enemy losses over the past day amounted to 480 people and 23 units of military equipment, not including UAVs. In particular, 2 tanks, 7 armored personnel carriers, 6 artillery systems, 5 vehicles and 3 units of special equipment. The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 2 enemy ammunition depots. We neutralized or destroyed 161 UAVs of various types," the commander added.
