German Defense Minister made a number of statements: about Taurus, Kuleba and the situation at the front

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has called for not comparing the supply of shells from the DPRK to Russia and from the West to Ukraine, Bild reports. Thus, the head of the German defense ministry responded to the words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba that the DPRK is better at helping the Russian Federation with shells than the West is at helping Kyiv. Boris Pistorius said he does not agree with such a comparison.

"These are Kuleba's statements as we know them. He has a tendency to polarize and escalate. This is his right in the situation his country is in. But I look at North Korean supplies in a slightly different light. There may be a lot of them, but their quality is at a significantly different level," Pistorius said.

The head of the defense ministry considers the situation at the front in Ukraine to be a deadlock: "In fact, the situation has reached a dead end. No territorial successes on either side. But Ukrainians continue to defend themselves very successfully, especially in the south and east of the country."

He also denies media reports of a possible circular exchange of long-range missiles with Britain. Pistorius said he was unaware of London's proposal to buy Taurus missiles from Berlin in order to send British Storm Shadow to Ukraine instead.

"I know nothing about this proposal. If there are discussions on this issue, I don't have it," Pistorius said.
