On the evening of January 24, Russians launched attack drones at Odesa, hitting residential areas of the city, injuring two men. This was stated by the head of the Odesa RMA, Oleh Kiper.

"Russian troops attacked Odesa with attack drones. There is damage to civilian residential infrastructure. Fires have been reported. So far, we know about one victim. An Odesa resident suffered burns. Doctors are providing all the necessary assistance," Kiper said.


Later, the head of the RMA clarified that the number of victims had increased to two. One of the men was hospitalized with numerous cuts, but his life is not in danger.


The second explosion occurred at 23:19 during the attack with drone strikes, which damaged a residential building.


According to local journalists, two women were rescued from the rubble and are still alive.


The National Police confirmed that a residential building and a furniture warehouse were damaged as a result of Russia's armed aggression. Rescuers are currently extinguishing the fires.


All security services are working at the facilities, police are recording the consequences of the enemy attack, collecting evidence of Russia's war crime, providing psychological assistance and ensuring law and order.

On the night of January 25, Russian troops launched two waves of Shahed kamikaze drones into southern Ukraine. The main attack was centered on Odesa. As a result of the attack, houses and a warehouse were damaged, and six people were injured. This was reported on Telegram by the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine.

Air defense forces reportedly shot down 11 kamikaze drones: 10 in Odesa region and one in Mykolaiv region.


It is noted that the enemy used already tested tactical tricks - entering from the sea at low altitudes, resorting to complex maneuvers.


One of their downed drones hit a partially inhabited multi-story building in the Khadzhybey district of Odesa and caused a fire. Several apartments were damaged, one person received burns and was hospitalized.


Another damaged drone pierced the roof of a two-story residential building in the city's Primorsky district when it fell.


Another UAV crashed in the same residential area, near an apartment building damaged in a previous attack. The blast wave caused a lot of damage to the windows of the surrounding buildings, a car parked in the yard was burnt to the ground, and several others were damaged.


In addition, the enemy hit the warehouse of a furniture plant in the industrial district of Odesa. A massive fire broke out due to a large amount of flammable substances.


A man who was riding a bicycle nearby was thrown to the ground by the shock wave. He was injured by fragments of various objects that flew from the explosion. The victim received medical assistance.
