Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico emphasized support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Kyiv offered Bratislava to join the implementation of the "peace formula". This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a briefing.

"I suggested to Prime Minister Fico that Slovakia consider participating in the implementation of President Volodymyr Zelensky's 'peace formula' in terms of the return of deported Ukrainian children and nuclear safety," the head of the Ukrainian government said.

Shmyhal also spoke about the statements of his Slovak counterpart that "have been made recently."

"Prime Minister of Slovakia emphasized that he fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country. Of course, we recorded this in our joint statement, which was signed during a broad meeting," he said.

According to Shmyhal, today, January 24, during a meeting in Uzhhorod, the parties discussed "the entire range of these issues."

"As well as the issue that Ukraine's victory means security not only for Ukraine, but for the whole of Europe, and thus the security of Slovakia. We talked about Russian atrocities, the bombing of civilians, the kidnapping of Ukrainian children, nuclear blackmail, and the nuclear threat that Russia poses to the entire world," the official said.
