Hungary is still far from reaching an agreement with the European Union on additional funding for assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros. This was stated by the head of the administration of Hungarian Prime Minister Gergely Gulyas in The Guardian.
According to him, Hungary is cooperating with the European Commission on the issue of financial support for Ukraine, but the positions of the parties differ significantly, and there is no certainty that an agreement will be reached in the near future.
Gulyas also said that if Hungary fails in the negotiations, the other 26 EU member states can make a decision without Hungary's participation.
