Poland predicts disappearance of queues at the border with Ukraine in the coming days

The situation at the unblocked checkpoints on the Polish-Ukrainian border will stabilize in the near future. Truck queues should disappear in a few days. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure of Poland Dariusz Klimczak on RMF.

The minister said that after concluding the agreement with the carriers, he made a phone call to Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov and noted that the possible resumption of the protest on March 1 depends on the successful fulfillment of the demands by the Ukrainian side.

The Polish minister assured that he would do everything possible to fulfill the demands of the Polish carriers by that date.

Klimczak also noted that Ukraine had taken into account Polish interests by canceling the electronic queue for empty trucks returning from Ukraine. In addition, the period of stay of Polish trucks in Ukraine has been extended from 20 to 60 days.
