German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that his country would supply Ukraine with €7 billion worth of military goods in 2024. He announced this following a phone call with US President Joe Biden.
The leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East. They agreed that assistance to Kyiv should continue.
"In 2024, Germany will support Ukraine with military supplies worth more than 7 billion euros," the statement said.
Also, the heads of the USA and Germany confirmed their support for Israel's rights and discussed the need to protect civilians in the Gaza Strip and ensure the flow of humanitarian supplies.
