The head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said that it is impossible for either Ukraine or Russia to conduct offensive operations. He said this in an interview with Le Monde.
According to him, the intensive use of drones by both sides made it impossible for Russian and Ukrainian offensives to take place.
He noted that another factor is the density of minefields, which has not been seen since World War II.
Budanov said that the solution for drones is electronic countermeasures, while mines require specialized equipment.
