Zelensky confirms Russia's use of North Korean missiles

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed Russia's use of North Korean ballistic missiles, as previously reported by the United States and the media. The head of state said this at a press conference in Estonia.

"There are large purchases of drones and Shaheds in Iran, and they are also negotiating about missiles, but they have not reached an agreement yet. They have also received more than a million artillery shells from North Korea, and we have also seen examples of some missiles," Zelensky said.

In connection with these supplies, the president believes that Russia has a shortage of weapons, and therefore a pause in the war will benefit Moscow, not Ukraine.

"Because we understand the volumes, how many drones and artillery they produce per day. We see what they lack, we see a big shortage of drones with artillery and missiles. They can't keep up. Yes, you're right, the world is not keeping up with Ukraine's stockpiles either. But the world is helping Ukraine today, and Russia has a deficit. If we paused, took a risk, gave Russia 2-3 years, it could run us over, and we would not risk it. And thank God that all this is being resolved in Ukraine. And so there will definitely be no pauses in favor of Russia," Zelensky said.
