Russian troops have intensified their activities on the eastern front, and the number of attacks has increased. This was reported by the representative of the Ground Forces Volodymyr Fitio on the air of the national telethon.
According to him, Russia is actively using equipment to organize new attacks.
"This destroyed equipment indicates that the enemy has become more active again. The number of attacks is reaching the level that it was before the big cold. We see that Russia is actively using equipment to organize its attacks. And the Russians have not achieved any success in this area," Fitio informed.
According to him, the Russian military-industrial complex is working and the Russians still have a large amount of equipment in storage.
"Those units that have suffered losses are being withdrawn, and other units are being set up, equipped with equipment. As we can see, they are keeping more equipment, because, unlike equipment, they have enough human resources to launch attacks without thinking. As soon as we destroy a certain number of Russian invaders, the next day fresh forces are already at the same positions. That is, they equip themselves properly. Their equipment is quite high, and this allows them to conduct rotations and, accordingly, keep a certain number of personnel in position," he said.
Answering a question about the prospect of a Russian offensive in the Kharkiv direction, the speaker noted that the Ukrainian military is monitoring the situation with the number of Russian troops in the Kupyansk direction.
"We understand that the enemy wants to capture the whole of Ukraine, not just Kharkiv. But the enemy's "wishes" and its capabilities are completely different things," said Fitio.
