The Armed Forces of Ukraine have not recorded any preparations by Russia for an offensive on Kharkiv, as reported by Western media. This was stated by Volodymyr Fitio, head of the public relations service of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a telethon.
"Foreign media reports that (the Russian army) will attack Kharkiv - well, we understand the intentions of the Russians. This is Kharkiv, Poltava, Kyiv. This is the whole of Ukraine. But now there are no alarm bells for Kharkiv residents," the speaker emphasized.
Fitio urged to use information from official sources.
The speaker also called the situation controlled and added that the number of Russian troops on the border and in the Kupyansk direction has not changed.
