Due to the cold weather, electricity consumption in Ukraine continues to grow. Power engineers call for saving light. This is reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
It is noted that on January 8, the daily maximum consumption was in the evening and was 9.5% higher than the corresponding figure on the previous working day, January 5.
At the same time, as of this morning, the level of consumption is already 5.8% higher than yesterday, which was already quite high. The reason for this is a significant cooling - from 0°C on Friday, January 5, to -15°C today.
"To help the power system operate in a balanced manner in such difficult conditions, please consume electricity sparingly," the company said.
