The Air Force cannot yet confirm the information about the downing of a new Shahed with a jet engine. This was stated by Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat during a telethon.
Earlier, Ukrainian media began to spread this report about the downing of such a UAV.
"I cannot confirm this. We have not found it. Those who have found it should confirm, show and tell us. We have already discussed this topic, that Iran showed 238 Shahed, black in color. After this demonstration, the occupiers began to repaint UAVs in black," Ihnat said.
He emphasized that if such drones do appear, it will be a "mini cruise missile" because the warhead cannot be large due to the load of the engine itself.
