Ukraine may launch a new offensive in the south in the spring, German publication Welt suggests.

According to the publication, "in the coming months", after receiving F-16 fighter jets from Norway, the Ukrainian Armed Forces may try to launch an offensive with a focus on Crimea.

It is noted that it is about 70 kilometers from the Ukrainian bridgehead on the left bank of the Krynok River to the peninsula. That is, the distance of a HIMARS shot.

At the same time, Crimea remains one of the problem areas controlled by Russia.

Currently, the Ukrainian army is actively destroying air defense and radar systems there.
