Poland's Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Czesław Siekierski said that the ban on imports of Ukrainian grain to his country will remain in effect until the relevant rules are developed at the EU level. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland on Twitter.

"The borders will not open, the embargo on Ukrainian products is indefinite - until it is lifted. I support the demands of Rolnicza 12, which, however, must be adapted to the current legislation in Poland, including EU legislation," he said.
Siekierski noted that negotiations with the protesting farmers are now important to find the best solutions.
"However, legal authorization of all the demands will take time. There is no reason to believe that what I promised will not be fulfilled," he emphasized.
