In the coming days, Poland and Ukraine will start technical negotiations on export licenses. This was announced by Polish Minister of Agriculture Czesław Siekierski, quoted by Polskie Radio.
According to Siekierski, it is planned to create certificates similar to those already agreed with Ukraine by Romania and Bulgaria. These certificates should limit the excessive flow of goods to Poland and eliminate trade disputes between the two countries.
The Minister of Agriculture noted that experts from his department will hold technical negotiations with their colleagues from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, discussing each product in detail. The licenses will contain export volumes and information about the recipient of the goods.
"Only when we come to an agreement and agree on certain things will we talk about lifting the embargo," Siekierski said.
