Polish farmers resume blockade of Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint

On the morning of December 4, at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border, farmers from the organization "Podkarpacka oszukana wieś" resumed a blockade of cargo transportation, Radio Liberty reports.

They announced their protest until February 3 or until the Polish government signs guarantees to fulfill their conditions.

The protesters said they would only allow three trucks to pass through per hour. However, they promise that trucks with humanitarian aid and perishable goods will be able to travel without delay.

Also, cars and passenger buses should be able to pass in normal traffic.
