Four people were killed as a result of a Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia on Friday morning, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Yuriy Malashko, said.


"We already know about 4 dead. My sincere condolences to the families and friends," Malashko said.

Secretary of Zaporizhzhia City Council Anatoliy Kurtev added that one of the local businesses was damaged, a private house was destroyed and windows in 19 high-rise buildings, two educational institutions and a medical facility were smashed. About 20 garages, a gas station and a hotel building were damaged.

The Prosecutor General's Office reported: "Several local enterprises were damaged. There are people under the rubble of one of the destroyed industrial facilities. Two private sector houses in the city were destroyed to the ground, while others were damaged. Window frames in high-rise buildings in one of the city's districts were smashed by the blast wave and debris."
