Fakes about power outages on holidays are being spread online. There are no plans to limit electricity consumption, Ukrenergo's press service reports.
According to Ukrenergo, the power system is currently experiencing a surplus due to reduced consumption. This is facilitated by the positive air temperature. In particular, on weekends, electricity consumption is lower than on working days, so there is no reason to introduce blackout schedules.
"This time, fakes are being spread through Telegram channels that report the movement of Russian missiles or drones during air raids. We believe that the only purpose of spreading outright lies about consumption restrictions is to spread panic among the population," the press service adds.
