Russian troops massively attacked Ukraine with various types of missiles in the early morning of December 29. There are hits, dead and wounded in various regions. We publish a general summary of the enemy's attack.
In Podilskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv, debris was recorded falling. In the Podilskyi district, a fire broke out in a warehouse. In Sviatoshynskyi district, a residential multi-storey building caught fire. At another location, a parked car caught fire. 18 people are injured, 2 are dead, the Kyiv administration reports. The explosion damaged the building of the Lukyanivska metro station.
In Dnipro, rockets hit a shopping center and a maternity hospital. All patients and medical staff managed to go to the shelter. The attack killed four people and injured about 15 others.
In Lviv, a residential building on Khotkevycha Street was hit, debris also damaged a lyceum and a fire broke out. One person died, eight people were injured in moderate condition.
Russians launched 22 missile strikes on Kharkiv. Civilian infrastructure was damaged, including a polyclinic, a school, residential buildings, and an industrial enterprise. One person was killed and eight were wounded.
Residential buildings were hit in Odesa, resulting in two deaths and 15 wounded, including two children aged six and eight. Two of the victims are in serious condition.
Also at night, a mothballed building of an infrastructure facility was hit in Odesa district. And in Odesa, a high-rise building was damaged by the debris of a downed drone.
There is damage to civilian infrastructure and casualties in Novomoskovsk, Dnipropetrovsk region, said Mayor Serhiy Reznik.
Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin said that there were five hits in the city. "A huge number of houses, premises with broken doors, windows, glass." Three people were injured, they had cuts from the glass.
A massive missile strike was carried out in Zaporizhzhia. The Russian Federation targeted the territories of several enterprises. One of the missiles hit an open area, another destroyed a private house. The blast wave and debris damaged high-rise buildings in one of the districts of the regional center. A woman was killed and 10 people were wounded.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the Russians targeted social and critical infrastructure.
