We have never seen so many targets simultaneously on our monitor, - Ihnat about the missile attack

During the massive attack on Ukraine on December 29, Russia used all types of weapons except Kalibr. Moreover, the target was not specific objects, but the entire territory of Ukraine. This was stated by Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, during a telethon.

"The enemy launched a massive missile attack using various means of air attack. In fact, everything was flying, apparently there were no Kalibr, but we saw Kinzhal, ballistic missiles, S-300, and cruise missiles that are still on our radar, still in the western part of Ukraine. Then we see the use of Shaheds. They also flew from the southeast, using X-22 or X-32 missiles," he said.

According to Ihnat, about 18 Tu-95 strategic bombers were used.

"According to preliminary information, the missiles were X-101 and X-555. In fact, we see that a really powerful enemy has struck. There is a downing. Unfortunately, there are casualties," stated the spokesman.

According to Ihnat, the enemy targeted the whole of Ukraine.

"Ukraine was the target because we have not seen so much red on our monitors for a long time. The map was virtually covered with enemy air targets - in all regions, in all directions," he said, noting that the Russians first conducted reconnaissance with drones and then launched missiles of various types.
