Yesterday, Russian troops attacked the southern regions of Ukraine for over 6.5 hours. Port infrastructure, inoperable administrative buildings and warehouses were damaged. This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces.
It is reported that first, tactical aviation fired X-59 missiles in the direction of Kropyvnytskyi and X-31P in the direction of Chornomorsk, Odesa region. Air defense forces shot down both missiles.
"The drone attack lasted for more than six and a half hours. In the intense combat work, the air defense forces destroyed 22 Shahed-136 attack UAVs," the statement said.
Of these:
- 17 in Odesa region;
- 3 in Kherson region;
- 1 in Mykolaiv region;
- 1 in Kirovohrad region".
In Odesa region, the wreckage of the downed Shahed fell in the port area, damaging technical facilities. In the neighboring Rozdilnyansky district, the debris hit an inoperable administrative building and a warehouse of a preserved facility.
"In Beryslav district of Kherson region, we could not avoid being hit. A fire broke out in the warehouse, which firefighters have already extinguished," the Southern Defense Forces reported.
