Last night, air defense units destroyed 17 Shahed-131/136 UAVs in the southern direction, while in Mykolaiv region one of the infrastructure facilities was hit, and in Odesa region a grain storage facility was damaged by the wreckage of a downed UAV.
"Air defense units destroyed 17 Shahed-131/136 UAVs launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea. 10 drones were destroyed in Mykolaiv region, 4 - in Kherson region, 3 - in Odesa region," the press service of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reports.
"Unfortunately, there were some hits: a fire broke out at one of the infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv region, which has already been extinguished. No people were injured," the press service informs.
In Odesa region, "the enemy again tried to hit the port infrastructure, but the air defense forces worked effectively." The wreckage of the downed UAV damaged a grain storage facility and caused a fire, which was extinguished by the company's employees.
"No casualties were reported," the Southern Defense Forces emphasize.
