On the night of December 22, Russians launched 28 Shahed attack drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 24 drones. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the Shaheds were launched from the Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from Cape Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
The air defense forces shot down 24 drones in Kyiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
