Ukrainian special services are "preparing surprises" for the Russians. Next year, they plan to intensify intelligence operations and carry out sabotage strikes against enemy targets in the occupied regions and in Russia itself. This was stated by the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Malyuk, according to Politico.
"We cannot disclose our plans. They must remain a shock to the enemy. We are preparing surprises. The occupiers must understand that they will not be able to hide. We will find the enemy everywhere," said Malyuk.
He noted that in this way Ukraine wants to "bring the war as close to the Kremlin as possible." The head of the SBU evaded specifics about the goals. However, he hinted that it is about the targets of logistics and military assets in the occupied territories.
"We are always looking for new solutions. It means that the "cotton" will continue to burn," Malyuk said.
The publication writes that since the fighting on the front line has not been progressing so quickly lately, the actions of the Ukrainian Security Service not only increase the morale of Ukrainians but also damage Russia's combat capabilities.
"The SBU carries out targeted precision strikes. We stick the enemy with a needle right in the heart. Each of our special operations has a specific goal and gives its result. All of this together complicates the Russian Federation's ability to wage war and brings our victory closer," emphasized Malyuk.
According to him, in particular, attention will be paid to the annexed Crimea and the Black Sea.
