Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups tried to break through the border in the north of Ukraine, seven such attempts in two weeks. This was reported by the Joint Forces Commander Serhiy Nayev.
"Subversive reconnaissance groups enter from Bryansk, Kursk and partially Belgorod regions in Chernihiv, Sumy regions and Bohodukhiv district of Kharkiv region. In total, there were seven attempts by the enemy to enter the territory of Ukraine in two weeks. In five cases, our defenders managed to detect such intentions in a timely manner and inflict a fire defeat. The enemy retreated after suffering losses," he said.
In particular, one of the subversive reconnaissance groups tried to cross the state border of Ukraine near Myropillia, Sumy region.
"Thanks to technical means, they were detected in time and were struck with mortars, artillery and small arms," added Nayev.
