In the Kherson region, several more children held by Russian invaders in the temporarily occupied territories were returned. Some of them were returned together with their parents. This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (RMA) Oleksandr Prokudin.
The official clarified that two children from this group have a family, and they were taken to the territory controlled by Ukraine with their parents.
"Three more children are from the category of children in difficult life circumstances," said the head of the regional administration.
The RMA noted that all of them are now in a safe place and are being provided with the necessary assistance.
Prokudin expressed his gratitude to all the structures and organizations that help return citizens from the enemy occupation to the free territory of Ukraine.
"In particular, the Save Ukraine organization, guardianship and custody authorities, and services for children's affairs of the region," the statement says.
