MP Mariana Bezuhla has put forward a new idea regarding the war in Ukraine. This time, she proposes to send all women to the front to equalize them with men during mobilization. Mariana Bezuhla published the statement on her Facebook page.
Bezuhla said that the draft law on changes in mobilization and recruitment includes initiatives that will equalize the rights of men and women in military registration and service in the Armed Forces.
"Women are like 'others' and cannot be compared! Let men learn to give birth, then we'll see! In general, it's about the right to life! Dear friends, are men's rights and the value of life any different? Women will still have a unique postponement and the right to dismissal - pregnancy. If you are pregnant, you have no right to be mobilized/you can resign. But at the same time, we plan to grant maternity leave as a right to deferment/dismissal to both the wife and husband of their choice," the statement reads.
She added that mobilized women can only take up the position of an assault pilot and other combat professions voluntarily. And for military spouses with one or two children, one of the parents will have the right to a deferment or discharge, and if there are three or more children, both can be demobilized.
