Bezuhla again criticizes Zaluzhnyi and more: details

The deputy head of the Rada Committee on National Security, MP from the "Servant of the People" party, Marianna Bezuhla, who decided to dismiss the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, the day before, has come out with a new round of criticism against him.

This time, Bezuhla said that the Ministry of Defense did not have an action plan for previous years, and due to his inaction, Ukraine's borders were not mined on the eve of the war and drones were not purchased.

"Where was Zelensky's defense plan for 2022? Dear friends, the 2022 plan, the 2023 plan, the 2024 plan - these are prepared by the military. They point out the risks and build defense and offense. Because in 2021, Milli asked us to pay attention, for example, to border mining. But the chief of staff argued so much that he refused to communicate with American partners for some time," Bezuhla said.

The MP wrote about drones: "I recall Zaluzhnyi at a hearing at the Committee on Procurement Coordination, who told everyone present that drones were not needed. And we had literally several drones included in defense procurement, submitted as proposals to the military leadership. All these documents are available, of course."

According to Bezuhla, at that time the Defense Ministry approved everything submitted by the military and sent it to the Committee. She also noted that there was no independent system for assessing the effectiveness of the Armed Forces' operations, and added that "attempts to introduce it faced internal resistance."

"Not a single general has been punished. We are not talking about imprisonment, we have just granted all military personnel 'combat immunity' by law, but about the fact that dozens of brigades are being removed, but not a single general has been demoted as a result of an internal investigation," the MP writes.

Bezuhla then goes on to criticize not only Zaluzhnyi, but the entire generals, whom she calls a "caste" that does not allow new people to join, and has gained "huge wealth and power" during the war.

"This is the elephant that we do not see, in particular, because of the fear that our comfort zone will face the harsh reality that there are no gods," the MP wrote.

Marianna Bezuhla said that in order to win, the army must be changed - "to turn the Armed Forces into a modern company where the life of a citizen and the effectiveness of the operation are equal, inseparable components of one whole, leading to victory."

The MP also spoke about Brigadier General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces Vasyl Zubanych.

"I remember talking to Zaluzhnyi, saying, 'Look what General Zubanych is doing, you know. You can see it. But Vasya Zubanych, the godfather of CGS Shaptala (Chief of the General Staff Serhiy Shaptala), was not only not dismissed from his duties as the leader of the offensive in the south, but he is still in the system," Bezuhla writes.

The MP also posted a meme where Zaluzhnyi is going to give Zelensky a military board game from a store instead of a defense plan.
