"Servant of the People" party deprived MP Odarchenko of membership and factional rights

The Disciplinary Commission of the Servant of the People unanimously decided to expel MP Andriy Odarchenko. This was reported by the press service of the Servant of the People with reference to the head of the party Olena Shulyak.

In addition, it was decided to suspend his membership in the faction.

"This is a standard procedure that we apply in such cases. The final decision will be made based on the results of the investigation. But we would like to emphasize once again that, as in previous cases, no one will be protected. Political responsibility has already come. Now it's up to the anti-corruption "authorities"," the party said earlier in a comment to Radio Liberty.

Odarchenko was suspected of attempting to bribe Mustafa Nayem, head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development, with bitcoins in exchange for assistance in obtaining money from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression to repair the buildings of the State Biotechnology University, where the MP continues to hold the post of rector (contract).

The prosecutor's office demanded the deputy's arrest because they believes that he may escape, which, according to the prosecution, is evidenced by his behavior on the first day of the war. Then he went to Zakarpattia, despite his oath "to defend the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine with all his actions".
