President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine can stop the war with Russia, but it will have to give Donbas and Crimea to the Russians. He said this in an interview with Fox News.
"Yes, we can stop the war if we give Donbas and Crimea to Russia. But our country is not ready for such a "peace plan," Zelensky said.
He also stated he was ready to meet with Donald Trump and listen to his peace plan for Ukraine.
"Let's talk to him and give him the opportunity to show what steps are in his 'peace formula'. I am ready (to meet with him). Of course, if he has a clear peace plan, he can share it with me," Zelensky emphasized.
He also expressed hope that the US Congress would help Ukraine.
"I hope that the United States will be with us in the fight against Russian terrorism," Zelensky emphasized.
