At night, the Air Force shot down all 14 Shaheds fired by the Russian Federation from the Azov Sea. This is reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
Russian forces attacked from 20:00 on November 21 to 03:00 on November 22 from the southeast (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia) with fourteen Shaheds and an X-22 cruise missile from a Tu22M3 aircraft.
As a result, the forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the Air Defense of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard destroyed all 14 enemy drones.
Units of mobile fire groups, fighter aircraft and anti-aircraft missile units in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions were involved in repelling the air attack.
An X-22 cruise missile failed to reach its target and landed in Zaporizhzhia region in an open area, damaging private homes. There were no casualties.
