Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said that Ukraine produces tens of thousands of drones of "some categories" per month. He said this during a telethon.
According to him, Ukraine has an assembly line production of thousands and even tens of thousands of "certain categories" of drones.
"We cannot cover such things, we are at a different stage of development. The Russians have been investing in the UAV market for many years, while we started developing it only a year ago. Now we have a market economy, many companies are emerging, and we will be able not only to catch up but also to overtake Russia in the long run," Fedorov said.
He noted that to increase the production of drones, we need a market, Western support, investment, and scientific development.
"All this will lead to an increase in the number of drones. While the market is exploding, we need to increase energy by deregulating the market," the Deputy Prime Minister summarized.
