Supplies of key 155-millimeter artillery shells to Ukraine have decreased since the start of Israel's war with Hamas. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to Western journalists, Le Monde reports.
"Our supplies have decreased. They have really slowed down. This is not something that the United States said: we give nothing to Ukraine. No! It's just that everyone is fighting for (supplies) themselves. This is life. I'm not saying that it's positive, but it's life, and we have to defend what is ours," the president said.
He stated that the West had failed to provide a sufficient number of shells.
"Now the warehouses are empty or there is a legal minimum that a particular state cannot provide you with. And this is not enough," Zelensky said, although he praised the US efforts to increase production.
