Russia has changed its tactics of drone attacks. Usually, Russia attacks Ukraine with drones at night, but today it did it in the morning. At this time, it is also difficult to shoot them down because of the thick fog. This was stated by the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat during a telethon.

"This time, the enemy has slightly shifted the timeframe of strikes. At 8:30, the alarms are still going on. Usually, at this time we provide statistics on the number of drones flying, where they were going, and what we managed to destroy in the airspace. This time, about ten UAVs attacked Ukraine," Ihnat said.

Usually, drone attacks take place between 22:00 and 04:00. The Russians tried to launch drones during the day, but realized that it was easier for Ukraine to shoot them down.

"Now the nights are a bit longer and visibility in the morning depends on the weather conditions. That's why it's also not easy to visually detect these air targets because of cloud cover and fog. All this complicates the work of mobile fire groups, which need an extremely visual reference to the target," explained Ihnat.
