American Abrams tanks, which the United States has supplied to Ukraine, have not played a major role at the front. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a meeting with African media.
"Fortunately or unfortunately, we have a lot of different tanks, and Abrams is no exception. It is a high-quality tank, but we don't have a lot of them, to be honest with you. It's hard to say that they play the most important role on the battlefield, because their number is very small," Zelensky said.
Zelensky expressed hope that Ukraine would receive more tanks from foreign countries in the future.
