Russians in the Kherson region understand the inevitability of the Ukrainian military's advance, but cannot calculate where the danger is coming from, said Natalia Humeniuk, spokeswoman for the Southern Defense Forces. She called for information silence to be maintained so that our defenders can accomplish their mission.
"If we talk about our area of responsibility along the front line along the Dnipro River, the enemy is trying to actively defend itself there. They understand that the advance of the Defense Forces is inevitable, but they cannot calculate from which direction they should expect such a danger. That is why they are trying to activate heavy and powerful artillery, MLRS and tactical aviation. Because they feel very uncomfortable," Humeniuk said during the telethon.
According to her, "repulsion from our side is taking place on a line from 3 to 8 km from the water's edge along the entire coast." Humeniuk noted that the front line in this direction is quite mobile.
"We cannot disclose all the activities carried out by the Defense Forces. However, it is obvious that this is pressing the enemy. So far, we are asking for information silence so that our planned dictum can work, which will allow us to report on great successes later," added Humeniuk.
