Germany has handed over a new military aid package to Ukraine, which includes 10 Leopard 1A5 tanks, shells and drones, the German government website reports.
The package also includes 14 Bandvagn 206 tracked all-terrain vehicles; 5 Carrier Warthog medical all-terrain vehicles; 1,020 155-mm shells; 1 Wisent 1 demining vehicle; 10 Vector reconnaissance drones; 14 GO12 radars; 3 border patrol vehicles; 4 8x8 HX81 tractors and 4 semi-trailers; 16 Zetros trucks; 3 cars; 10,000 protective goggles; 13 MAN TGS trucks; and 1.4 million rounds of ammunition.
Leopard tanks of the 2A6, 2A5 and 1A5 modifications are designed to break through fortified enemy positions, destroy firing points, equipment and manpower, and quickly organize defensive lines.
