Kolomoisky left in jail: court rejects petition for house arrest

A court in Kyiv has not changed the preventive measure for oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, leaving him in a pre-trial detention center in line with its previous decision of October 24. Back then, his arrest was extended for two months. This was reported by the Suspilne media outlet.

The businessman's defense lawyers asked the judge of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court to change the measure of restraint to house arrest. The lawyers motivated this by the deterioration of their client's health.

However, the judge rejected this request for Kolomoisky.

The oligarch himself did not comment on the court's decision to the media.
